How can I apply?

Submit your works of art (up to 3 color photos of your artwork, jpegs - 2MB - suitable for printing of bulletines) and registration form filled completely as an e-mail attachment to multipoint.art.symposium@gmail.com. Each submitted work of art must be titled, dated and include dimensions. OR enter your website + send completely filled registration form as an e-mail attachment to multipoint.art.symposium@gmail.com.

What medium is eligible?

PAINTING - all traditional and contemporary styles

When is the final deadline for submitting applications?

June 30, 2015, but as the participation is highly competitive, earlier submissions are highly recommended.

Is there any fee?

NO, there is no entry fee.

Is there any age limit for artists?

NO.

I´m not a professional artist. Can I apply?

Unfortunately not. After the portfolio review, only selected professional artists are accepted.

Do the artists present their portfolios during the symposium?

YES. All artists are invited to make a presentation about their works, autobiographies etc... It is important for all accepted artists to bring their presentation materials with them!

What materials are provided by ARS STUDIO?

Canvas (max dimensions to be specified) and acrylic paints.

What is paid by artists?

Travel costs to/from Nitra, Slovakia, visa expenses if necessary, other material, e.g.: brushes and oils, special colours etc...

What is working language during the symposium?

ENGLISH

Is the accomodation provided?

YES. accomodation is provided to the artists for FREE and sponsored by the Guest House ´U Krba ´(breakfast and dinner included) for more details about the venue, please go to www.ukrba.sk

Where do artists work during the symposium?

During the symposium, activities are held in the studios of ARS STUDIO, Skultetyho 1, 949 11 Nitra, Slovakia and/or outdoors. Any changes can be arranged about this certain space.

How many artists do you accept to participate?

10, but ARS STUDIO reserves the right to change the final number of the symposium participants.
